What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, mittenrx.com. It does not cover your pharmacy records. Your prescriptions and your health information are protected by federal law (HIPAA) and by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
What this website does not collect
- The site has no accounts and no shopping cart. While you read our pages, it collects nothing about you or your health.
- We use no analytics, no advertising and no social media tracking. No company follows you from this site to show you ads.
- The site sets no cookies.
- The fonts and pictures come from this site itself, so your browser does not contact Google or other companies while you read our pages.
If you send us a transfer request online
If you use the transfer request form on our Transfer page, what you type goes straight from your browser to our pharmacy's own email, which runs on Google Workspace under a HIPAA agreement with Google. This website does not keep a copy. We use your request only to transfer your prescriptions and to call you about them, and we protect it as our Notice of Privacy Practices describes.
What our hosting provider records
This website runs on the servers of Vercel Inc. Like every website host, they handle some technical details each time your browser asks for a page: your IP address, your type of browser and device, the page you asked for, the page you came from, and the date and time.
These details are used only to deliver the pages and to keep the site safe, for example to stop attacks. They are kept only as long as the host needs them for that. We do not use them to find out who you are, and we never use them for marketing.
What your browser keeps
The home page plays a short opening animation the first time you visit. Your browser keeps a small note on your own device so that it does not play again. This note is not a cookie, holds nothing about you and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data for this site.
When you call or visit us
When you tap a Call button, your phone calls us directly. What you tell us on the phone or at the counter is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Links to other websites
Some links take you to other websites: Directions opens Google Maps, our rating opens our Google page, and our health guides link to trusted sources such as government health agencies. Those websites have their own privacy policies. Once you are on them, their policies apply, not this one.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent or share personal information from this website with anyone.
Children
This website is not made for children under 13. A parent or caregiver may send a transfer request for a child; we treat it like any other request.
Security
Every page is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The site uses strict security settings that stop other websites from loading code into it.
